LZ Margo Lest We Forget - Copy.jpg

On Sunday, September 16, 2018, the 50th anniversary of the Battle of LZ Margo, we held a formal program of about 5 hours beginning at 9 AM, with a lunch break.

The theme of the morning session was Reflection.

Speakers recalled LZ Margo and our time in the DMZ from the perspective of a half century, how the operation unfolded and how it impacted our lives.

After lunch, the theme changed to Remembrance.

Speakers recalled the precious lives of the brothers we lost and the duty to remember of we who survive -- veterans who fought with them and family members who miss them still.
