Fifty Year Reunion and Remembrance

Reunited

On the weekend of September 14-16, 2018, the DMZ Rats of Battalion Landing Team 2/26 reunited in Detroit.

"I thank all those who spent countless hours putting our reunion together... It was one of the best weekends of my life.

"The bond we formed at LZ Margo and as Marines is unbreakable. I can now happily say that I've added another 'defining moment' to my life.

"We few. We happy few. We band of brothers."

We reconnected and we remembered days when our lives were changed forever.

The moments we spent together before Sunday were precious, but they only were a prelude.

Because on that day, Sunday, September 16, the fiftieth anniversary of an awful day that touched us all so deeply, we paused to reflect.
