Hope all had a GREAT Marine Corps birthday--two hundred forty six (246) years of defending this great nation of ours--and a wonderful Veterans Day as we remember all those with whom we served, far too many who are now gone @ far too young an age. God Bless one (1) and all. Semper Fidelis!!!

Thinking of everyone this morning, particularly all those who gave their lives so that Americans can enjoy the day. God Bless America, Land of the Free Because of the Brave!!!

Got this proclamation honoring Viet Nam veterans from my friend Quang Nguyen. Quang a Representative from Legislative District 1, read this on the floor of the Arizona House of Representatives today. Representative Nguyen came to the United States from Viet Nam as a young boy, a refugee who was not even ten (10) years old. He’s come LONG way in life and he thanks Viet Nam veterans for the chance @ that life. ~~ Semper Fidelis and God Bless America, Land of the Free Because of the Brave!!! . . . Larry

Here's wishing all of you the very best for this Thanksgiving. It's been a tough year, but stay positive and keep fighting the good fight. We WILL get through this, just as we've gotten through all past challenges. God Bless!!!

One (1) of the true, vastly under recognized, heroes of the battles @ LZ Margo. Then an HM3, 'Doc' Lancaster was recommended for an award of the Silver Star Medal. That award recommendation was downgraded to a Bronze Star Medal with Combat Distinguishing 'V' Device by the battalion, then further downgraded to a Navy Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing 'V' Device as it went further up the chain-of-command. 'Doc' was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing 'V' Device. He will always be Medal of Honor stature in my eyes. May you rest in peace 'Doc'--a Marine's Marine.
