Steve and Larry you write the thoughts that I have but cannot find the words to put on paper. Thank you. Thursday (16 September) I will be going over to our county Military Museum to donate a few items. Some of those items will be the In Memorial page from the memorial held on the USS PRINCETON on 21 October 1968 and a copy of article by Kyle Watts that was published in the LEATHERNECK magazine. I am doing this as PFC S.J. Reichardt, Hotel 2/26, killed in action on 17 September, is listed on the county wall of remerbence. He is buried in our local cemetary. I am hoping that this little bit of history will be carried on and not be lost.

Hi Steve. Hope all is well with you and yours. we had the rain and snow on Tuesday. Cloud and light rain today. did manage to get grass cut Thursday. Finally starting to heal. COVID in november, gall bladder removed December and a bout of Diverticulitis in February. Do hear much from others. Take care. Jerry

Not much going on here in St Louis area either. Glad you guys are staying healthy. I myself have not been so lucky. November I spent 15 days in hospital with COVID-19. Got over that and spent the next few weeks at home with no outside visits. End of December thought I had heartburn so went to urgent care. They sent me to ER. Got admitted again to hospital. X-ray and CT showed gallbladder problem. They decided to go in and take out my gallbladder. Not a good way to end the year, but I am still here and kicking. Semper Fi and stay safe.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Yes it has been a trying year. I feel lucky that I survived another year. Spent 15 days in hospital with COVID-19 and still kicking, just a heavier dose of oxygen. Hope everyone is staying safe. Enjoy what you have for tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Happy birthday to all dmz rats. I wish it was a better time. This Covid sucks. Been I hospital since Sat after testing positive thurs. Going to take more than this to get me dow. Stay safe.

Glad to see you are as well as can be expected during these times. Been busy with honey do around the house along with visiting with grandson and gran daughter in Springfield MO and with our other gran daughter here in the St Louis area. Not venturing too far from home. Lost three of our beloved dogs since last October. Down to one little 10 lb yorkiepoo. He keeps me busy always wanting to go outside and chase the birds out of the yard. Hope someday we will be able to get together again. Waiting for word on the 26th Marine reunion. Nice small gathering of Marines. Really had a good time with them last year in New Orleans. Was supposed to be in San Francisco. Hope we can get the location changed to a more friendly area. Good to hear from all. Glad all are doing OK. Cooling down here in St Louis. Not much going on. Lost three of our dogs this past year. Two to cancer and one to old age. Still have on of or rescues that is now 9 years old. Have not been able to babysit with all of this going on. Sure do miss the kids and grand kids.
