Retired from a 37-year law enforcement career in 2007. I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Lauren, for 42 years. We have 2 wonderful children, and 3 absolutely amazing and beautiful grandchildren, who brighten our lives beyond belief.

My passion has been cars since I was a teenager and I currently own a Corvette. I also enjoy working around the house and gardening.

In addition, I speak to students every year at several local high schools on my experiences in Vietnam. It has become my mission to keep alive the memory and spirit of those brave Marines we left behind. We can't let their sacrifice be forgotten.

God continues to bless my life in so many ways, and there are times when it's difficult for me to comprehend why He spared me on September 16, 1968. I'm certainly not deserving, but I know it's all part of His plan. I'm also very thankful that we were able to have our reunion in Detroit last year. What an amazing group you are, and it was so awesome reconnecting with you. Semper Fi
